Adamawa-born Boss Mustapha is Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19. A politician and lawyer, he has close to four decades of exemplary public service and before his current posting served as Member of the Interim Management Committee at the Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund and MD/CEO, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA.
He has also variously served as member of the Constituent Assembly in 1989 and member of the historic 2015 Transition Committee formed after the victory of the APC in the 2015 polls. His deft handling of the policy implementation of the current administration and astute leadership of the COVID-19 Task force has further endeared him to Nigerians.
