About Zik Prize

The Zik Prize in Leadership Award held its 28th edition on the 16th Nov. 2025, in Lagos. The award was instituted in 1995, in commemoration of Nigeria’s first President, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, by the Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC) to recognize and celebrate outstanding leadership across Africa and the Diaspora, honoring individuals who have demonstrated exemplary vision, integrity, and contributions to nation-building.
